Reservation request

A reservation request is initially held as an option for a maximum of one day. If no final reservation is made within these two days, the landlord reserves the right to rent the property to another party. Your reservation request is confirmed once the deposit has been paid.

Rentals and check-in Policy

Bookings are on weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday.
Check-in time begins at 4:00 pm. Check-out time is at 10:00 am the day of departure. Weekends and Mid-weeks on-demand only.

Rates

Rates are in Euro including applicable taxes, service charges, and value-added tax.

Payment Policy

A deposit of 50% of the total reservation amount is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid no later than six weeks before the start of your stay. If the booking is made within six weeks of arrival, the full reservation amount must be paid immediately.
In case of cancellation more than six weeks before the start of the stay, 50% of the total amount will be refunded. For cancellations within six weeks of arrival, no refund will be issued. We therefore recommend taking out cancellation insurance.

additional costs

• €260 + €20 per person for linen costs, to be transferred with the final payment.

• Security deposit of € 500 will be added to the bill. The security deposit will be refunded by bank transfer within a week after check out.

use

You are welcome to use Casa Giulietta for the duration of your stay. The provision and use of Casa Giulietta are based on mutual trust and respect for our property. You are required to leave the house and its inventory in the same condition as you found it upon arrival. We kindly ask that any (minor) damage be reported immediately to the owner of Casa Giulietta.

pets & smoking

Casa Giulietta is completely smoke-free. Smoking is therefore not permitted in or around the properties. Pets are not allowed.

number of guests

Casa Giulietta accommodates a maximum of 10 guests. It is not permitted to stay with more people than have been paid for, and never more than 10.

liability

Your stay in our property is at your own risk, meaning we, the owners of Casa Giulietta, are in no way liable and cannot be held responsible for any damage or injuries suffered in our house or on our property, in any form. In the event of damage to our property, the General Liability Act will apply, and the damage may be settled through liability insurance.

cancellation by tenant

If the tenant cancels up to six weeks before the arrival date, a 50% refund of the total amount will be granted—provided the full amount has been paid at the time of cancellation. If only 50% of the total amount has been paid at the time of cancellation, no refund will be given. Cancellations within six weeks of arrival are non-refundable. We recommend taking out cancellation and travel insurance.

cancellation by landlord

In the event of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, the landlord may cancel the reservation. Unforeseen circumstances and force majeure include, but are not limited to:

• The property is no longer suitable for rental (e.g., due to (natural) disasters).

• The property is no longer available (e.g., due to the sudden sale of the property by the landlord) or a double booking.

In such cases, the landlord will refund any rent already paid, either in full or in part, without being liable for any additional compensation. The landlord is never responsible for costs related to services booked separately by the (co-)tenant (e.g., airline tickets, car rental, ferry crossings, bus/train travel, etc.).
